Our family business has been serving the local community for over 120 years and we aim to be there for everyone who needs us for many years to come. To do this, we carefully recruit and develop our team members so they understand the values of our family business and feel a personal investment in ensuring we give the best possible service.

Andrea - Finance Manager

Andrea – Receptionist

Andrea has been committed to the success of the business for over 16 years manages the accounts and secretarial duties. With Ivan, she helps the office run smoothly and supports the business wherever this is needed. If you contact the business there is a good chance you will speak with her and she strongly believes in being caring, gentle, helpful and knowledgeable during a difficult time.

Martin - Funeral director

Martin – Manager/Funeral Director

Martin is one of the funeral directors of the business and liaises with families to ensure their needs (and those of the deceased) are met. He will do his best to keep the family informed of the progress for the funeral, answer any queries and provide the support to help them during a very difficult time. Martin appreciates the family run environment, especially as he has worked for some corporate directors. He has now been with the business for 13 years and brings in total 31 years experience with him.

Jane – Receptionist, Kinson

Kinson works very closely with Boscombe and is staff by our receptionists. They are able to guide and support families during a very difficult and challenging time. Jane will always listen and try to meet the needs of all clients. She appreciates that George Scott Funerals is an independent company, everyone is friendly and they make a good team.
